Not all the cork maps we manufacture in our workshop meet our quality standards. Some do not print well or break during the process.
At the end of the year, we accumulate 90 kg of cork that we cannot use to produce maps.
So we turned what would have been waste into a product.
This is where the idea of this set of unique Coasters was born. You won't find two alike.
You can call it circular economy, saving or opportunism... but the final result is something that we really like and defines us.
We generate less impact by offering a unique and special product.

The creation of the product
1. Recover
All the waste generated when manufacturing our cork maps - especially those that do not meet our quality standards - are set aside to create this product.
2. Selection/separation
We select and separate the pieces that allow us to produce the coasters more efficiently and creatively from the wastes generated.
3. Recycling
This process helps us minimize the impact and give a second life to the scraps of our bestseller.
Estimated delivery time: the calculation considers production and preparation time plus the selected shipping. This is an estimate, so a margin of 1 or 2 working days of early or late delivery is possible. 98% of parcels are delivered on the indicated day.

Once collected and received the parcel back to our atelier we will proceed with the refund of the amount of the order.

Posavasos de corcho recuperados
He comprado en varias ocasiones en Misswood y siempre he quedado muy satisfecha con la calidad y el estilo de los productos. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión me ha decepcionado. Encargué los posavasos porque me parecía una idea original y el hecho de ser un producto respetuoso con el medio ambiente me parecía un plus. Viendo las fotos del producto en la web, pensé que mezclaban posavasos hechos de diferentes modelos de mapas para aportar originalidad y que hubiera un equilibrio entre los posavasos con dibujo y aquellos que no lo tenían y, simplemente, eran lisos. Sin embargo, el set de posavasos que me ha llegado es soso y carece de diseño. De 10 posavasos, tan solo dos podría decirse que tienen algún signo del mapa. Los 8 restantes son simplemente de corcho, sin ningún detalle que lo haga especial. Era consciente que alguno vendría así, pensaba que incluso podía ser la mitad; lo que no esperaba al ver el producto es que la mayoría fueran lisos. Una pena esta decepción de una marca a la que admiraba.
