This spectacle of nature is located in the Hoya de Huesca region in the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees in Huesca.

Best time to do the Mallos de Riglos route

In spring or autumn. If you can catch the sunset, it will be a feast for your eyes. The combination of the sun's orange hues with the reddish hue of these mountains makes for incredible photographs.

Route through Mallos de Riglos

Circular Route Camino del Cielo: This route is easy, although the slopes are very steep. It's 2.5 hours long and very well marked. You'll reach a viewpoint where you'll appreciate the reward for the climb. The route ends in Riglos. A stroll through the village also offers the wonderful spectacle of the imposing Mallos mountains from below.

Complete the Route

Visit the village of Riglos. Stroll through its old town, which follows a winding path. With its ups and downs, you'll reach the Church of Our Lady of Mallos. Places to see:

- Fuente Morena located in the picnic area.

- The Mountaineers' Refuge.

- Old washhouse.

- Old oil mill.

- Raptor Interpretation Centre.

Interesting facts about Mallos de Riglos

In the second half of the 11th century, the town of Riglos was fortified, and to this day some remains of the original wall are still preserved.

Advice
