What do we do with the waste?
Not all the cork maps we make in our workshop meet our quality standards. Some are not printed properly or break during the manufacturing process.
At the end of the year we accumulate 90 kg of cork that we cannot use to produce maps.
What would once have been waste is now a product.
This is where the idea for this set of original coasters came from. You won't find two alike.
You can call it circular economy, saving or opportunism... but the end result is something we really like and that defines us.
We generate less impact by offering a unique and special product.

The creation of the product
1. Recover
All the waste generated when manufacturing our cork maps - especially those that do not meet our quality standards - are set aside to create this product.
2. Selection/separation
We select and separate the pieces that allow us to produce the coasters more efficiently and creatively from the wastes generated.
3. Recycling
This process helps us minimize the impact and give a second life to the scraps of our bestseller.
